New SoFiSTiK office realized with BIM

For the construction of the new SoFiSTiK AG office in Nuremberg, all building partners collaborate closely according to the BIM method. GM Planen + Beraten GmbH is responsible a specialist planner for all building services, ventilation, air-conditioning, heating, plumbing and electrical systems - using Stabicad for Revit.

For this exciting construction project, the building partners collaborate in a virtual model based on Autodesk Revit 2017. Andreas Melk, Managing Director of GM Planen + Beraten GmbH, explains the impact of this working method:"The biggest difference in the way we work with previous projects is that the planning team is working just as closely together within our MEP department, as with architects and planners. In combination with powerful calculation modules, which are available within Revit with Stabicad, our planning and design process for the technical installations is considerably accelerated. We can now provide other project participants with significantly higher information content at earlier times."
